AND MORE!

AND MORE!

So much more to see and do, make sure you check out everything while you're here!

Your track entry covers all sessions on the day. It is up to you which sessions you want to participate in. Sessions depend on numbers - these may be extended, cut short or cancelled on the day.

In order to keep entry prices as low as possible, we’ve made the decision - based on feedback from previous entrants - not to open the wet skid pad in 2026 due to its limited use in past years.

FAQ

Image

The easiest way to enter is online through our website. Click Enter in the menu, or use the Enter button at the top of this page. If you can’t see it, entries aren’t open yet.

Entries usually close 5 days before the event.

Please make sure all forms are filled out correctly and that you use the exact name shown on your driver’s licence. Get in early while early bird pricing is available for the cheapest rates.

On-the-day entries may be available if the event does not sell out beforehand.

Image

Entries cover one vehicle and one driver only for the day(s) and activity/activities you have entered.

Passengers, second drivers, garage spots and any additional extras can be purchased separately if required.

Image

You may change either the Vehicle OR the Driver at Registration on the day.
$60 admin fee applies - cash only.

You cannot change both the Driver and Vehicle under the same entry. A new entry is required.

Vehicle Breakage During Event
If your vehicle breaks during the event, you may bring a different vehicle the following day.
$100 admin fee applies - cash only.

This covers a new safety check, re-registration and updated event documentation.

Alternatively, you may:
• Attend as a spectator using your driver wristband
• Drive another correctly registered vehicle

Credential Rules

Do not transfer entrant stickers, wristbands or credentials between vehicles or drivers.

Spot checks are carried out in the pits, staging lanes and at track entry points, with credentials checked against registration records.

Any vehicle or driver found using transferred, tampered or incorrect credentials will be immediately removed without refund. A lifetime event ban may apply to all drivers and vehicles involved.

Image

If you can no longer attend, reply to your confirmed entrant email and our team will process your request. Refunds will be issued back to the original payment method and may take up to 10 working days to appear in your account, depending on your bank.

Cancellation Timeframes
• More than 7 days before the event.
$60 admin fee applies. Remaining balance refunded.

• 7 days up to the day before the event.
$100 admin fee applies. Remaining balance transferred to the following year's event.
This covers event packs, stickers and documentation that have already been prepared.

No Refunds Will Be Given For
• No-shows or failure to attend registration during scheduled hours
• Issues outside Premier Events control such as weather delays, fog, oil downs or recoveries
• Choosing to participate in only one type of session
• Sessions cut short due to low numbers
• Vehicle mechanical failure
• Vehicle failing safety check
• Failure to bring required safety gear

Our events are designed around participating in multiple sessions. Track time is not guaranteed for a single session type. If you limit yourself to one activity, this does not qualify for refund or partial credit.

Image

Pit parking is available to registered entrants only.

Due to limited space in the pits and the size of the event, all non-entered vehicles must have a Support Vehicle sticker to be parked inside the pits. NO TRAILERS ARE TO BE PARKED IN THE PITS!

Support Vehicle passes can be purchased with your online entry. Numbers are strictly limited and sell out every year, so pre-booking is strongly recommended.

If you have a tow vehicle, trailer or support vehicle and do not wish to purchase a pass, free parking is available - follow our teams instructions on the day.

Any vehicle parked in the pits without a valid Entrant or Support Vehicle sticker will be removed.

Image

You do not need a WOF or registration to enter.

Our safety check team assess different requirements depending on whether your vehicle has a WOF or registration, so please make sure you enter the correct lane at Registration and review the safety requirements listed on this page.

Any vehicles without a WOF or registration must be towed to the event.

Image

A full driver licence is required for all track sessions and driver entries, and you must present your licence on the day. Temporary paper licences are accepted.

The only exception is Burnout-only entries, where restricted licences are permitted.

MSNZ competition licences and equivalent overseas licences are also accepted.

Image

Safety is our number one priority at all of our events.

All events are strictly alcohol free. Vehicles may be searched on entry and any alcohol found will be confiscated and disposed of.

Random breath testing may take place during track sessions. Any driver returning a reading over 0.00 may have their driver pass removed.

Image

Yes, we have plenty of free trailer and support vehicle parking available at the event. Please follow our team’s directions on the day.

Under no circumstances are trailers permitted in the pits. Any trailers found in the pits will be removed.

Only support vehicles with a valid sticker are permitted to park in the pits.

Image

Our events operate under a standard "No pass-outs" policy.

Driver wristbands allow you to leave and return to the venue if needed (e.g. for fuel), however this is only permitted after midday due to one-way traffic flow into the venue during the morning. This applies to drivers with a valid wristband only.

Passengers must remain inside the event. If they leave, they may be required to pay for re-entry.

If you need to leave and return for any reason (e.g. left something in your car), please speak to gate or security staff before exiting.

Image

Hampton Downs have pit garages available to hire for the weekend. These garages are 10m x 12m each which fit up to 6 cars so get together with a bunch of your mates and hire one out. Garages Include power and lights and a seperate garage lane to get out on the track faster.

Garage Terms & Conditions:

  • All vehicles inside the garage must have a "Garage" sticker on their windscreen.

  • No vehicles are to be parked outside of the garages, in pit lane or on staging lanes.

  • Garages are non-refundable and does not include event entry fee.

To book a garage, please select the option when you submit your entry.

Image

Want to drive your mate’s vehicle without doing a full entry?

Second Driver wristbands will be available over the weekend for $100 plus the spectator fee.

Head to Driver Briefing and complete the form. Your wristband allows gate entry the following day, so the spectator fee is only payable once.

Image

Yes they can! Simply visit the Passenger Wristband desk on the day, fill out an indemnity form and purchase a passenger wristband for $10. This allows you to ride as a passenger in any vehicle for the day the wristband is purchased.

If you are under 18 years old, a parent or caregiver will need to sign on your behalf.

Please check the safety gear list above to see which sessions allow passengers.

Passenger Wristbands are seperate to your gate entry.

Image

Different sessions require different safety gear. Please refer to the Safety Gear Checklist above for full details.

Requirements vary between tracks and may change from time to time, so be sure to check before the event, even if you’re a regular.

If sessions require a helmet, it must be motorsport approved or provide equivalent full-face protection. Motocross, BMX and shorty/half-shell helmets are not permitted. Limited exceptions may apply for burnouts or gymkhana, however these helmet types should be avoided when purchasing as they may not be accepted at future events.

Image

Our Hampton Downs event runs rain or shine.

However, some competition elements may be affected by weather. For example, Roll Racing and other timed formats may be cancelled or adjusted if conditions aren’t safe. If rain is forecast later in the day, we may bring these sessions forward in the schedule where possible.

The Meremere Drag Racing event is weather dependent and will only go ahead in suitable conditions. If cancelled due to weather, there is no rescheduled date.
